![]() And the possibility to make separate folders for the individual games, so the mods in the folder are only enabled for the game. All versions of Minetest support custom textures with a folder under the main Minetest Folder called textures. The native resolution of Minetest's textures are 16 × 16 pixels. I recommend one folder named "all" for mods, that works just like the new system, but with all the mods in there enabled by default. A texture pack is the collection of files that are used to change the in-game textures of: blocks. Now you have to manage everything by hand, which is just unnecessary more work. Another stable release: 0.4.7 Many cool features are added (like farming) and many bugs are fixed. Like minetest_game now has farming, realtest don't. Until now you could make one folder for every game and use different mods for different games, which is logical, because games can differ much, not every mod works for every game and you don't want every mod in every game. Also, it takes a nice feature for game-mode-support. While it is still easy: put them into the folder and enable them, it requires one more step that is not necessary, and it will confuse people - those new and those who are old to minetest. It makes installing mods more complicated. For a full list of what has changed or what is added see the changelog. The way you install mods is slightly improved and common is dropped. I wanted to leave a comment on that before 0.4.7 is released, but anyway: Another stable release: 0.4.7 Many cool features are added (like farming) and many bugs are fixed.
